Yaeko is an Australian pottery brand dedicated to creating functional, one-off ceramic pieces that blend minimalist design with a raw textured aesthetic. Inspired by my obaasan’s vast collection of Japanese ceramics, each Yaeko piece is handcrafted using traditional pinching and rolling techniques, with a focus on enhancing the organic nature of clay. The process of designing, hand building and glazing, is slow and intentional - reflecting the pleasure of a simpler life.
